First Friends Preschool is a ministry of First Baptist Church Prosper and our mission is to provide a safe, secure environment in which children can come to know and understand God’s love.
At First Friends, we strive to provide developmental activities that will enhance cognitive, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. And we are here to love, support, and help families.
First Friends meets September through May 9:00 am -2:00 pm.
We offer a Mother's Day Out as well as Preschool
Programs.
Mother’s Day Out: (12 mo –3 years)
Our Mother’s Day Out promotes hands-on learning, social interaction with others and
learning centers.
Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday
9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Preschool:
Our Preschool will prepare your child for Kindergarten both socially and academically.
We offer both 3 and 4 day options.
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday (3’s and 4’s)
9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Monday thru Thursday (4’s only)
9:00 – 2:00 pm
Beginning at 3 years old, children must be potty trained.
We utilize the Wee Learn Curriculum, which is learning center and theme based. Each class will focus on a theme, while learning centers are provided to enhance each theme. In addition, our 3’s and 4’s attend Chapel each morning for a time
of singing, listening to a bible story, and finger plays.
In addition to the Wee Learn program, we utilize the Frog Street Press academic curriculum in our 3’s and 4’s classes. This curriculum uses music and songs to introduce children to letters, sounds, shapes, and numbers.
NEW for 2010-2011
Transitional Kindergarten "TK"
(5 years old) -4 days Mon-Thurs
Our Transitional Kindergarten is designed
for young 5 year old students not ready for conventional Kindergarten.
TK will equip your child for future academic sucess.
Monthly Tuition:
Mother’s Day Out: $165/mo.
(12 months – 3 years)
Preschool – 3 Days: $205/mo.
(3 & 4 years by 9/1)
Preschool – 4 Days: $250/mo.
(4 years by 9/1)
Transitional Kindergarten: $290/mo
*A discount of $10 per month will be given to second and third child enrolled.
