Celebrate / Introduction
We believe that one the most exciting times of our Fellowship is when we gather together to “Celebrate” our life in Christ. At First Prosper we believe that our worship service as believers is what we do 24/7, living our lives in a way that brings glory to God. (Romans 12:1-2) After Jesus was resurrected there was no longer a “place of worship,” the worship center became the heart of those professing faith in Jesus. (Acts 17:24-28) Therefore, what we do as the Body of Christ on Sunday’s is “Celebrate” our life in Jesus.
The Reason we Celebrate:
1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
